Contact Improvisation, Soft Acro & Floorwork.

Monkey Movement is the practice that has developed within me over the last few years. A mix of Contact Improvisation, Soft Acro and Floorwork. Exploring rather than controlling, trusting what shows itself in the body. Movement as a craft, as a connection between dance, martial arts and acrobatics. The integration of opposites, hard and soft, technique and intuition, as a path towards more flow. And the work with coordination, with objects and with changing conditions, through which we discover how truly adaptable we are.

At the heart of it is movement research on the ground and in contact with others. We warm up the body, explore floorwork and transitions, and move into partner work where weight, trust and connection come into play. Playful and curious.
