Microbatics & Orientation

A workshop about acrobatics as a language of the body. Winston has spent years developing his Microbatic practice as a gentler, more sustainable approach to acrobatics, born from his own injuries and a search for a way that honors body and attention equally. Athletics, falling, groundwork and partnering meet questions of Orientation: how do we navigate space, why do we choose certain movements, how does our inner experience connect to our outer movement. Two days to loosen old patterns and find new ways of balancing and connecting.

Winston is a multidisciplinary movement artist. His Microbatic practice grew out of personal necessity: after earlier injuries, he searched for a more sustainable, refined approach to acrobatics. For him, acrobatics is not a show, it's an intimate language that folds into the body's larger movement vocabulary. His work blends athletic training, agility, groundwork, falling and partnering, and keeps evolving, carried by care, curiosity and continuous adaptation.
