Intensives

This intensive is designed for AcroYoga beginners and for those who want to safely refresh and deepen their foundations. AcroYoga is a playful way to build trust, connect with yourself, and experience joy together. We create a safe space where you can explore at your own pace – with clear, calm guidance, step by step and without any pressure to perform.

We begin with Solar Basics: initial L-base techniques, partner exercises, and clear principles of balance, body tension, and communication. You’ll learn how to offer stability as a base and how to find ease as a flyer – supported by trust, presence, and playful connection. Through small transitions and short flows, we combine individual elements into simple sequences that are safe and joyful to practice.

On the second day, we dive into the Lunar practice: Thai & Fly, conscious touch, mindful holding, and therapeutic elements that bring deep relaxation and connection. Here, the focus is on letting go, softening, and experiencing support – a nourishing counterbalance to the active Solar practice. In Thai yoga massage, we explore how touch creates calm and how trust can settle into the body.

This intensive is open to anyone who wants to discover AcroYoga or strengthen their fundamentals – whether you already have some experience or are completely new. Everyone will find suitable levels and partners; we switch regularly, practice together, laugh, play, and grow as a group. Everything happens at your own pace.

A weekend dedicated to connection, trust, and lightness – between sky, earth, and togetherness. An invitation to be held, to hold, to fly, and to land – playfully, safely, and with full presence.

About Estúdio Yucca — the venue for the intensive

Estúdio Yucca is a unique movement space in the Algarve – minimalist, warm, calm, and at the same time full of vibrant energy. The studio is located in Cabanas de Tavira, nestled between the sea, nature, and the village’s small streets. Bright light, a spacious wooden floor, and a clear, open atmosphere make it a place where movement feels effortless from the very first moment.
